Charles Ludlow
Original watercolour
Donated by the Adams family
A beautiful, untitled, rural watercolour by Charles 'Chas' Ludlow (1923 - 2015). Ludlow was a painter, musician, poet, photographer and inventor. He was born in Applethorpe in Queensland’s Granite Belt and grew up in the Stanthorpe area.
His art, mostly watercolours, was exhibited widely from the mid-1960s onwards. Ludlow was an esteemed member of the Royal Queensland Art Society.
Sancintya Mohini Simpson

Donated by Rachel Crowley
A limited-edition print (9/39) by Brisbane based artist, poet and researcher Sancintya Mohini Simpson. Sancintya has recently exhibited at Artes Mundi, Cardiff (UK), Sharjah Biennial 16 (UAE) and the 11th Asia-Pacific Triennial (BNE).
She is represented globally by Milani Gallery, Brisbane.
